The GEM Learning Model
Our goal is to help every student grow academically, develop strong character, and become a confident leader who makes a positive difference in the community.
Core Academics
Students build strong foundations in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies through focused instruction, hands-on practice, and support tailored to their needs.
Teachers identify each student’s strengths and learning gaps, adjust instruction, and encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.
Project Based Learning
Students connect classroom learning to real life through collaborative projects that build civic awareness, communication, problem-solving, and practical life skills.
Projects may explore topics such as community service, entrepreneurship, robotics, film, podcasting, gardening, pottery, and creative writing.
Skill-Building Workshops
Weekly communication, collaboration, entrepreneurial mindset, robotics, film, podcasting, civic action, gardening, pottery, and creative writing.
Character & Leadership Development
Teachers, mentors, and the school counselor guide students through regular check-ins, reflection, and opportunities to lead. Students develop integrity, empathy, resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.

Margaret is a STEM educator with a Master’s in Education designing personalized learning experiences that build confidence and strong academic foundations.
Sherly holds a Master’s in Psychology, providing a strong foundation in student development and learning. She is committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

TEFA program was created in 2025 — families receive state funds for private school, homeschooling, tutoring, CTE. Starts 2026–27 school year. Administered by Texas Comptroller.
